Legacies and charity partnerships

For forty years, The Valley Trust has helped children and young people find a safe, confidential space to talk, be heard and begin to heal. Through our school counselling service, qualified and experienced counsellors support pupils who may be facing bereavement, family breakdown, anxiety, bullying, friendship difficulties, low self-esteem or other emotional challenges that affect their wellbeing, learning and relationships.

A gift in your will can help ensure this care continues for the next generation. By remembering The Valley Trust in this way, you would be helping us sustain therapeutic support in schools, making counselling available to children and young people at a time when early, trusted help can make a lasting difference.

Why a legacy
matters

Schools are often the place where children first show that they are struggling. Having counselling available within school means students can access support in a familiar setting, without unnecessary barriers. A legacy gift helps us plan ahead, retain skilled counsellors and provide sustained therapeutic care.

A minimum legacy donation of £5,000 would allow us to provide a meaningful period of sustained therapeutic care. Larger gifts can extend support to more pupils, more sessions, or a wider range of schools, depending on the donor’s wishes and the needs of the children we serve.

A gift could also support Heads and pastoral staff access our Reflective Practice Service – supporting the staff and preserving their well-being and passion for their vocation and the positive impact this has on the futures for their students.

Charity Partnerships

Our charity partners fulfil their mission to support their cause without the risk, cost and legal liability of setting up a regulated clinical service. Our funding model guarantees that 100% of charity partnership funding goes directly to working with children and young people.
