Clinical Supervision

Supporting the
People Who
Support Others
At the Valley Trust, we know that good clinical supervision is the backbone of good counselling. That’s why we’ve built a dedicated network of qualified experienced supervisors who share our values and our commitment to making a real difference for children, young people, and families.
Our supervisor network is more than a professional register. It’s a community of like-minded practitioners who passionately support our counsellors, bringing their experience and insight to improve the outcomes for the children and young people and to ensure that the professional practice is delivered ethically and safely.
Why Join Our Network?
If you have experience of working with children and young people, an appreciation of the pressures school-based counsellors face, and a warm, collaborative approach, we’d love to hear from you.
We work with counsellors embedded in schools across the region, and we’re always looking to connect with supervisors who understand that context.
We also provide supervision for school staff, Senior Leaders, Designated Safeguarding Leads, Well-being and Pastoral teams. This work is generally bespoke to each individual school but may consist of one to one and/or group supervision.
As part of the Valley Trust supervisor network, you’ll be joining an organisation with a strong reputation, a clear sense of purpose, and a leadership team that values the professional relationships it builds. We believe in openness and honesty, and we aim to make working with us straightforward, supportive, and rewarding.
“Good supervision isn’t just a professional requirement — it’s at the heart of everything we do. We want our supervisors to feel as supported and valued as the counsellors they work with.”
