We are looking to recruit a new Bookkeeper who is also happy to help the Manager with some of the general admin duties:

What the role involves:
Receive all invoices and make relevant payments
Invoicing schools in a timely fashion and chasing any unpaid monies
Payroll
All bookkeeping / annual accounts
Attendance at Trustee meetings (3-4 per academic year, usually held over lunchtime)
Help with general administration work as directed by the Manager

Person specification:
A bookkeeping qualification, ideally AAT
Used to working with more than one software package
Works well on own initiative
Our office is small and only operates with two people (the Manager and Bookkeeper)
Sense of humour and outgoing/sociable personality is desirable

Hours:
Term-time – Two mornings per week, eg: 9:30 to 12:30 (we can be flexible on days/times)
Very occasional work during School holidays as required

Rate of pay:
£13 per hour
